We will be cleaning up easily accessible trash along the River Walk trail and the river. Those who want to be adventurous and get a little wet can pick up trash in the river, while the rest of us can walk the trails and pick up trash at rivers edge and along the River Walk trail itself.
All ages welcome!
Safety First!!! We will only pick up trash that is safe to get to, and safe to pick up!!!
Bring gloves if you have them, otherwise we will have a few extra pairs of gloves. We will be providing trash bags and safety vests as well!
Sponsors & Partners include the Purgatoire Watershed Partnership, City of Trinidad, Trinidad Urban Forestry Board, Twin Enviro, Trout Unlimited, Trinidad Community Foundation, Creek Week Campaign, Purgatoire Watershed Weed Management Collaborative, Spanish Peaks-Purgatoire River Conservation District, NRCS, and the Public Education, Participation, and Outreach (PEPO) committee of the Arkansas Basin Roundtable.
